Ms. DeDilectis
[day-dee-lek-tis]
I am a half-Italian, half-German, all American, South Florida born-and-raised bookworm. My love for teaching was developed during my years as a VPK and Kindergarten instructor at a private school in Davie. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Ed. with endorsements in reading and ESOL. In addition to VPK & K, I have also taught a 3rd/4th multi-age class and 4th grade.

In my spare time, I love to travel, read, spend time with friends & family, listen & sing to music, and watch musicals. The movie, "The Sound of Music" is one of my all time favorite movies and I have seen the musical "Hamilton" two times (and can't wait to see it again!). I also enjoy looking for little hole-in-the-wall coffee shops to try out. Currently, Ella Cafe is my favorite place to drink coffee and read books.

This is my first year at Franklin Academy and I cannot wait to see the incredible things my students will accomplish! I look forward to working with the third grade team and parents to help every child achieve their fullest potential.
